Introduction
CuePilot supports Vision Switchers over a number of different protocols. See Enable Vision Switcher Control.... With Blackmagic Design ATEM Switchers, CuePilot can connect to the switcher over IP. This lets CuePilot control more sources than the Blackmagic Design serial connection allows.
Connect the Vision Switcher over IP
With a Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher connected to a Studio Server over a network and with an IP address set, enable CuePilot's switcher control.
- In Setup > Vision Switcher, select the Status and Enable
- Connection Type, select IP
- Protocol, select ATEM
- IP Address, enter the switcher's IP address
With a connection established the Vision Switcher icon in the top bar will appear green.
Vision Track Output
Blackmagic Design switchers can support between 1 M/E row and 4 M/E rows. Each Vision Track in CuePilot needs to be output to the desired M/E row.
For switchers with only 1 M/E row, such as the ATEM mini Pro, assign the Vision Track output:
- CuePilot Output 'ME1' = Blackmagic Design M/E 1
For switchers with multiple M/E rows, CuePilot's M/E row assignment corresponds to the Blackmagic Design M/E rows as follows:
- CuePilot Output 'ME1' = Blackmagic Design M/E 1
- CuePilot Output 'ME2' = Blackmagic Design M/E 2
- CuePilot Output 'ME3' = Blackmagic Design M/E 3
- CuePilot Output 'PGM' = Blackmagic Design M/E 4
