C1 is the name of our CuePilot custom-made certified serial cable. By providing certified cables for use with the BOB unit and Nexus Studio Server, the vision switcher and Studio Server communicate correctly.
We are updating the CuePilot application to make it a requirement that communication is established correctly. This requires the C1 certified serial cables that are provided with every BOB unit and Nexus Studio Server, regular serial cables will not function. The new C1 certified serial cables enable better communication and optimise the connection.
