How to Check Which Version is Installed

Download for Mac

At cuepilot.com, select the menu 'Download' and click on the link to Download CuePilot for Mac. Once downloaded open 'CuePilot.dmg'.
Drag and drop CuePilot in to your Applications folder.

In the Applications folder, Control-click on CuePilot and select Open.
macOS will warn that Apple cannot check for malicious software. As long as you have downloaded CuePilot directly from our website, it is entirely safe to open. Select 'Open'.

When using CuePilot and adding Media from your computer, such as files from the Desktop, Documents and Downloads folders, you will need to grant CuePilot permission to access files.

Troubleshooting for Mac

If you cannot open CuePilot and receive a warning that it cannot be checked for malicious software, follow steps 3 & 4, to enable your Mac to trust opening CuePilot.

If you launch CuePilot and it shuts, check you have the latest version installed. All Project information is saved to the CuePilot Cloud Server, so you can always reinstall CuePilot and then sign in again to continue working.

At cuepilot.com, select the menu 'Download' and click on the link to Download CuePilot for Windows. Once downloaded open 'CuePilotSetup.exe'.
After downloading CuePilot.exe for the first time, you may be prompted to trust the app. As long as you have downloaded CuePilot directly from our website, it is safe to run. If required, select 'Show More' on the dialog and then 'Keep anyway', or 'Run anyway'.
Open CuePilot. When you open CuePilot you may be prompted about CuePilot's need for accessing the network for its features. If prompted 'Allow access' to ensure CuePilot can communicate over the network as necessary.

How to Check Which Version is Installed

To check which version is installed, in CuePilot open Setup and select Software Update.

The current version is CuePilot Version 6.1.2.67.

If your version is lower than the current version, try to manually update by selecting Update Now to reload the latest version. If you have used Update Now and are still not on the current version, there might be an issue preventing CuePilot from updating itself. Use the steps above to download the application again.
