CuePilot Version 6.1 Release Notes
CuePilot 6.1 Released
CuePilot has been updated to Version 6.1. We've continued to refine and implement new features, whilst optimising the workflow. When using CuePilot, the update downloads in the background. Expect a notification when it's ready, then relaunch to load the new version.
Optimised Sharing
In CuePilot 6.1 when you add media to an act to share with users of a project, CuePilot now automatically creates optimised media for sharing. Video is compressed and then shared at an ideal file size for reference, enabling faster transfers and optimised streaming in CueApp.
S6 Studio Server, Coming Soon
CuePilot 6.1 lays the foundation for supporting our new S6 Studio Server, our most powerful yet. Rack mounted for stability and security, yet right at your fingertips in a production gallery, the new Studio Server is built with aviation grade componentry for reliability in the most rugged production environments.
In-Built Recording
CuePilot 6.1 adds support for the S6 Studio Server's in-built recorder, enabling studio rehearsals to be recorded and immediately added to an act’s timeline and shared with the studio crew using CueApp. This feature eliminates the need to manually add media of rehearsals back to CuePilot, saving you precious time during production.
CuePilot Version 6.0 Release Notes
Improved User Interface
CuePilot 6.0 is simpler to use and it is much easier to focus on the relevant and productive elements of the creative process. Current CuePilot users will have no problem changing to the new version, and new users will learn to use the application much quicker than before.
PTZ Camera Control
CuePilot 6.0 can now remote control all PTZ cameras in your production. CuePilot will organise your camera presets, recall the shots and switch to it at the exact time as planned. You can easily combine manned cameras with remote-controlled cameras - or do a fully remote-controlled production only using PTZ cameras.
OSC Tracks
With CuePilot 6.0 you can create OSC tracks with cues that send commands to any application or system that is controllable via OSC. We’ve already implemented an OSC schema for controlling Disguise 3D, and more will follow. It is also possible to define your own custom OSC schemas with detailed commands for other applications.
Advanced Switcher Control
The new VX Track allows you to control memory, macros, effects and keying on the vision switcher. This allows for some exciting visual effects coordinated with the individual shots on the Vision tracks.
Learn Version 6.0
We have also made a handful of videos that will introduce you to the new and improved UI as well as show how some of the new features can be used. The videos can be found here:
